One of the first things I noticed while in Cosmetology school was the lack of education for different hair textures, specifically curly hair. Being someone who’s lived their entire life with curls, I understand the feeling of unease when walking into a salon and not being sure that my hair would receive the best treatment. So, I’ve taken it upon myself to help educate both my clients and fellow stylists in curly hair knowledge to unlock their full potential and rock their most authentic selves!

I am a curly hair specialist. I became a hairstylist because I wanted to do hair, until I discovered that there was such a thing as a curl specialist. I found that this specialty is so rewarding for not only me as a stylist, but for the people who sit in my chair. With my expertise in curly hair, I want to expand the salon industry to the underserved clients and bring peace to those with textured hair and make sure they feel a part of the community too!
Everyday in the salon, I teach my clients how to style their hair to look its best! Over time, I began to hear many of my clients complain about how their stylists didn't know how to style their hair and thought that it wasn't fair to judge them because cosmetology school didn't actually teach us how to style it!
